I will overwhelm 'serious combatant' Jake Paul - Anthony Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight round fight which will be streamed live on the streaming platform.

British boxer Joshua said he will "dominate completely" the American and "overpower" the American as the pair confronted each other to promote the upcoming heavyweight fight.

Former two time unified title holder Anthony Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, on paper, a huge mismatch - at Miami Kaseya Center on 19 December.

Boxer's Mentality

"I plan to injure his face and break his body up. My goal is to show I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35, said.

"I'll stamp all over him. That's the boxer's mindset.

"I intend to really want to hurt him. That's my goal."

Civil Exchange

Despite such comments, a calm Joshua and internet personality Paul - normally recognized for his dramatics - exchanged pleasantries and maintained decorum with each other.

Jake Paul rather targeted ex Joshua rival the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "a joke" after Ngannou turned down a fight offer.

Taking Aim at Tyson Fury

Joshua, in the meantime, took aim at UK rival Tyson Fury - and refused a large bet 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a victory for Paul.

"Jake Paul outshines Tyson Fury - he's present here," the boxer stated.

"I respect him for that."

Serious Opponent

In spite of declaring he will punish Paul, Joshua chose not to talk badly about his opponent's pugilistic talent.

"Jake is a serious fighter," he said.

Jake Paul's History

Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has mostly boxed mixed martial artists or declining opponents since turning professional.

He lost to British fighter Fury in last year.

Financial Attraction

Still, the novice is still one of the sport's greatest commercial attractions, frequently receiving huge paydays.

Forecast and Belief

The 28-year-old predicted a KO victory in the fourth or fifth round and asserted he would stop the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is reportedly under discussion for two years from now.

"It will be my match with Fury next year," Jake Paul said.

Physical Difference

As the two fighters met for the usual face-off, with their physical disparity evident, it drove home just how improbable this entire matchup is - and how amazing it is that the bout is really happening.
